Elios Car Show

After farming our San Leandro neighborhoods with tomato and squash plants last Thursday, we finally had an opportunity to checkout Elios Car Show/Elios Rodders Night Out.  If you are a car fanatic, this is the local event for you.  This free event is on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month from April-October, men and their cars meet in the parking lot of Elios Restaurant/K-Mart on Washington Avenue (cross street Floresta Blvd.).  Cars arrive about 5:00 p.m. and leave around sun down or when flocks of seagulls circle above (ruins the paint job…lol).  I can’t say I’m a huge fan of automobiles, so it’s difficult for me to give specific details, such as make and model of the cars I saw, but, I did noticed there were “suped” up cars, older antique cars, and loud muscle cars-if that helps any.
